I don't know which it is. I suspect you will find out while making a demo of
it.
Start with an entire copy of your source for the application and use a
backup and restored version of your database and start to hack away at it. I
don't care if you want to even send me the whole thing as-is. As long as I
can quickly get a reproduction of the problem.
