Subject Re: [IBO] problems with D6 install of IBO

Dear All:

Hallelujah! Thanks to Nando's inputs (below), I deleted & reinstalled with
the correct (non) extensions for D6 and everything compiled correctly and I
was able to install all the components onto the Palette.

It was probably my poor understanding of English fro the HowToInstall.txt
but I think 2 things needed to be done in the future:

1. Put the Delphi/CBuilder Install into Folders specific to their
usage/version.
2. Improve on the HowToInstall Installation wording.
3. Better still, Get a Fool-Proof Installation program that takes away
the tedium/mistakes made by novices.

Thanks again for all that helped.

Now I can get to learn more about IB/IBO and ask more questions.

Chris
