Hi all:
I did use the The IBO40_D6.bpg . This is the only _D6 extension package I
see in my downloads.
I also followed Helen's advice and added the \Source\ToolsAPI to the Lib.
path and it fixed some 'File not found' problems but still complained that
'Proxies.pas' was not found. A search on my system does not yield a
proxies.pas although a proxies.dcu was found in my previous D5 installation.
The HowTo Install text is not entirely clear and the Installation process
needs to be 'packaged' for
the various versions of Delphi/CBuilder and not lumped into one gigantic
space even though I understand from Jason's perspective. Most people expect
to see the Installation process to be 'fool-proof'.
It seemed to me that the Install text asked that the D6 package be compiled
(which I did and it went through O.K) and then the final step (#3) was to
right click on the following design time packages and install them, one by
one?
Design-time packages:
IBO40CDT_D5.dpk
IBO40ADT_D5.dpk
IBO40TDT_D5.dpk
IBO40VDT_D5.dpk
IBO40FDT_D5.dpk
IBO40XDT_D5.dpk
IBO40WDT_D5.dpk
IBO40WXDT_D5.dpk
IBO40EDT_D5.dpk
Runtime and Designtime packages:
IBO40RPL_D5.dpk
IBO40FTS_D5.dpk
There were *NO* _D6.dpk extensions in my downloads and I presumed to use the
_D5.dpk
and then I run into the problem of the proxies.pas not found in
DesignEditors.
BTW, I used the download *// 8/9/01 3:57 PM 2027110 IBO_4_2_E.zip
//*
I've spend a fair amount time on the install and it's not looking good. It
seemed either I am wrongfully using the _D5.dpk or something else is
missiong. I *don't* have any _D6.dpks.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Chris

However when I tried to install the design time packages, I ran into a
couple of problems:
