Paul,
For the other settings: There is a documentation somehow, but don't ask
me where *g*
It's just that I'm working with Interbase for some years now and I do
have a template text about page size and charcter set in my db-directory
*g*
remembered you being in Canada I thought it would be a good idea to use
a charc ter set which is able to:
- translate the á à ê etc correctly to UpperCase
- and which would allow you to use an appropriate collation order
(PXW_INTL850). If you're able to read german (judging from your family
name their might be a chance ;-)) you could ask Thomas Steinberger (very
active in this list) for his charcaterset tests on ISO8859_1 with
collate de_de, and WIN1252 as well with collation PXW_INTL as
PXW_INTL850)
