I think the problem is that the '' value is not catered for. In other
words, an entry in the form

FIELDNAME=

(with nothing after the = sign) is purged from the IB_StringList and not
used.
To test this, the Query Form editor of IB_SQL is sufficient.
If this is the problem, then I don't see an easy fix. Perhaps a
convention to indicate an empty string in those stringlists could be
adopted (like '', or %EMPTY%), but it sounds like a bit of a mess.
