I would guess that about 90% of my programming time is spent coding in the
core somewhere.
A large majority of the features in IBO controls are contributed or based on
concepts and ideas others have suggested and prototyped.
I tend to rely much more heavily on contributions to add the nice goodies
the visual controls have.
Mostly because my talent is in architecting and developing a good data
access engine.
I don't think you need to worry I am going to get too carried away with
fluff and neglect the core.
I only work in those areas when I need to for a paying client.
