While IBO is designed flexible enough to allow you to do this and get away
with it, I think it would be better that you get IBO4 and use the new
horizontal refinement feature to allow a user to do such navigations in the
dataset. Then, when the user hits Last it will simply pull in the records at
the last of the dataset only.
In general I like to even discourage the navigational mode towards
interacting with data. User's eyes shouldn't be the sifting mechanisms to
select records of interest.
IBO has much better mechanisms for getting records of interest.
