So it does (and AllowDefaultTransaction). I always thought they
defaulted to false - maybe its something I added in my own
derivations.

Its partly my fault, since I introduced the code that started the
problem. I am not all that surprised that it was a little mysterious
in its appearance and disappearance, things can get quite confused
when using and changing dfm default values.
