IBO has a kind of messaging subsystem.
Every Dataset and also Transaction and connection have an announce-focus
property.

If you set a bar to receive-focus, and one form with controls connecting to
a broadcasting datasource is opened, the moment, you click one such control,
the Bar will point to this datasource. So you can build an MDI-application
with many forms and many datasources and use one central naviagtion, update
and searchbar in the main forms toolbar. These bars will automatically be
focussed on the datasource, the user is actually working on, and this
without writing one line of code.
