Sorry for the delay: time constraints forced me to switch back to the
IBX version of the app, freezing the IBO one for a while.

To give an happy end to this thread, by inserting a simple "/* bogus
*/ text in each UpdateSQL slots I *got* a live IBOQuery, and was able
to do The Right Thing within its OnUpdateRecord. But I think I should
completely rewrite the form logic to map IBO behaviour, a concept I'm
still learning :)
