A little while back someone wanted to be able to declare a few persistent
TField objects but still have the benefit of allowing other columns in the
SELECT list of the SQL to have their dynamic TField objects created if there
wasn't a persistent one already for it.

ps I was intrigued myself - search for TIBOFieldOptions in ibodataset.pas to see what's going on.
