> Yeah that works a treat, thanks Helen.About two years ago I was doing an on-site training/consulting gig for a
week in Houston. They were using DevExpress components and the TIBODataset
components. There was a problem which was driving them nuts. I undertook to
solve the problem and in the process acquired the sources to their grid and
commenced debugging it. After some time and a lot of reading their sources I
got a good feel for the general architecture of their buffering and dataset
interaction. After finding and fixing a bug in their code (for which Ray
paid me back graciously with a nice dinner in Long Beach) things all worked
a treat for them then too.
What's my point?
The DevExpress and IBO architectures are like hand in glove as long as you
have a way to meaningfully identify each record of the returned dataset. So,
when using DevExpress and IBO together, KeyLinks make it all work like a
charm.
