I suspect it's related to the difficulty now experienced in making any
change to one's subscription. The link given on the original notification
of subscription is redirected to the Yahoo site. Here one enters a
labyrinth of requirements to register, subscribe etc which I found
baffling. I eventually got an access number, when I tried to use it I was
told it had expired.

All I want to do at the moment is switch to digest, but I do wonder if I
will ever be able to unsubscribe should I wish to. To that extent your
mailing is a comfort.
