You don't need ASTA to do that. (Asta could hgelp, of course, improving speed).
You just need access to the IB/FB machine from the internet, and to port 3050 (if you didn't change this port). Try it. Perhaps you will change some parts of your application to improve speed over slow connections.

I have a big, big problem :-). We have a database server, and someone is asking me to make a application that he can connect from his house to the IB-database through the internet. I don't have any idea where to start. Are there any tutorials available for that ?
