fwiw, thanks to our clever Claudio, the latest (and future) Firebird builds won't let you have queries with ambiguous join, group by or order by criteria. In the past, InterBase has let you be sloppy about this, with unexpected (or worse, undetected) wrong results in output.
If you are planning to upgrade from Borland Interbase to World Firebird, it would be a good idea to clean up your SQL on the way. IBConsole and IBAdmin have apparently already fallen prey to this, with ambiguous SQL showing up in system table queries...
(If you want to know what bugs to expect in InterBase, it's always worth a visit to the Firebird bug list.)
