That said, the GSG is really for those approaching IBO for the first
time. It's a long way from being a manual for the whole of IBO !! The GSG
was designed as a walk-through to get people past the confusion of (a) so
many properties and methods and (b) the data-driven architecture of IBO,
when they have been used to the control-driven methodology in BDE development.

The help file is - well - helpful. The initial chapters contain lots of
tips, explanations and advice. The component help is comprehensive.

Please don't overlook the sample apps. Most of them have accompanying
(extra) documentation and they really do help you to get your head around
the good techniques.

If you have the source, get acquainted with the forms that come with
it. Jason has shared some good code there for re-use. Also check out the
IB_WISQL source for some excellent technique sharing.

Coming up the review stream are a number of tech info sheets. These have
been tackled in priority order but, as time goes by, they will form the
basis of a handy loose-leaf documentation system. FAQ (about 150 items) are
on the web site, with more than twice that number in the process of being
put into a dynamic web application.

Cheers,
Helen
