In the past we have had to run different clients - the 5.5 and 5.6
clients simply did not work when using events so you had to use 5.1.

Up to now I have been quite happily moving things between 5.6 and 6 via
IBO without any problems. I don't believe that is possible now with the
latest Borland version, but everthing is still fine with Firebird, so I
see no reason to use anything else.

Onviously the goal should be to have everthing running the same version,
but there are a lot of older systems out there that we should still be
able to access. IB_WISQL does not have a problem - IB_Console does!
