Typically I would say, you would need to come up with a per-day rate,
some people would clue in fairly quickly, and might only need a day
or two, some people might need a couple of weeks. Some people might
want to stay in a hotel. I expect it would be popular with us
Northerners in the winter (a few days in a warm place, with the cost
being a write-off, sounds good at this time of year -- a few days
inside a July blast-furnace, forget it, even with a write-off).
Realise though that for some of us, it's a double hit, there are no
billable hours, when we are not at our desks, and for Canadians, the
exchange rate is US$1 = ~C$ 1.45 so it's an even bigger hit. I
would have to say not this year.
