A flag is exactly what I would do for this situation. The flag would remain
set until the query were unprepared. Excellent suggestion. I will add this
to the list of things to implement in a later v4 minor release. For now I am
focused on just the features in progress now so that I can get what is
finished already into circulation as soon as possible.
