Jason,
Marco Cantu's news server some time ago, which is going very well with
regard to traffic. I hope to put up an on-line article on IB via IBO,
and maybe I'll also get a paper magazine to publish something on the
matter (once I finish to study IBO for the better - btw rest assured
there'll be much less criticism than in my posts here ;-)). From what I
read in that newsgroup, IBO isn't that much used here. They tend to use
the BDE, IBX and FIB+ (more or less in this order of preference); I
suspect that's because IBO is perceived much like a commercial product
and people think it's not necessary to spend money for a tool that they
already have out of the box (the Quick-Report syndrome).
Maybe the trustware scheme itself needs more marketing. But the italian
market for IBO is small anyway...
