I would like nothing more then to convert this app over to IBO &
InterBase. After all, this is what I originally set out to do.

I realize the table browsing techniques currently used are not C/S
friendly and I would not have a problem migrating to a more C/S
friendly version over time. However, doing this all up front would
cause me to have to re-write and re-design a major portion of the
program. I agreee that the user interface changes would be more
efficient for both the user and the server, but the change would be
so drastic that I would have to re-train all users. This app is
currently used in over 100 government offices throughout Wisconsin.
The cost of having to retrain everyone would be enourmous.

I really did not want to go down the FlashFiler/Advantage avenue, but
until now, I did not see an economical alternative. IBO version 4
sounds very interesting. It appears that this would allow me to
quickly migrate over, then do the C/S optimizations after I have the
users on a stable environment ???? If this is true, would you please
consider having me as a very serious full time beta tester ? This app
is fairly large and would definately put IBO through the ringer.
After this I also have several other apps that I would be converting.
I have promised my clients InterBase and would really like to keep
this promise.
