Hi,
Is it necessary to use a transaction with an ibquery if i need to read info
from a database only? Do I use ibConnection or ibdatabase?
I seem to be getting conflicting answers.
Thanks,
Dion

Use the FieldByName().ControlsReadOnly property to govern if the controls
attached to a particular field are read only or not. It is against IBO
standard operating procedures to attach application logic to controls
instead of the data itself. If the control is data aware leave it alone and
just work with the data itself.
