Well, perhaps your right, but a lot of the ui stuff that Jason provided to
us in IBO is why some of us made the jump in the first place. Otherwise, I
suppose we would be happy with the FreeIB components. And what a sad state
of affairs that would be.

Oh c'mon. Jason is a true talent, has a fabulous work ethic but he's a
database guy. Let him focus on what he is best at.
Let him do database stuff like the Linux version of IBObjects.
That GUI stuff is proprietary and OS specific and a time sync also.
the database layer should be separate from the UI so let's have some
separation of powers here.
