Everything in Firebird happens inside transactions which have to be started and stopped by the client application. Possibly these tools start the transaction and then leave it to the user to commit or rollback (cancel) the transaction...do you see a Commit button (or a button with a big red checkmark) ?

Perhaps those tools are only intended to port the database structure and not pump data?

Why not contact the authors of those tools directly?

..or try another tool...
