Hi ,
We had a similar task of coverting Informix database to
interbase
We used a datapump.exe utility of Borland to transfer the
tables and their data from informix database to interbase database.I am not sure
if this tool is free .You can check whether this tool is available for download
at Borland site
Then we had to change some SQL queries in our programs which
were in informix SQL syntax
