Maybe this will help to understand it.

1. the process is part of a transaction in a stored procedure.

2. I do not know how many numbers I will need to process.The amount
of numbers is not static. Today it is 1 number next month it can be 10
numbers.

How would you pass the numbers to one stored procedure without changing
the stored procure? If I change the sp then I will need to change more
due to transaction use of sp
