A php version of 'Access' would be very useful, but I don't believe
anything that flexible is available yet. 'Delphi for PHP' is a possible
starting point, or what is that other design package that cost lots of
money?

ibwebadmin allows direct editing of firebird database, but that is
notwhat you want ...

Personally I've been working from the other end, with a PHP content
management system called bitweaver which runs nicely on Firebird. There
are a number of packages available in the basic distribution, and adding
your own is relatively easy. Either copying an existing package and
changing it to your needs, or producing a new one ( usually still
copying an existing one ;) )
