Thanks for the replys.

I used sphinx for a MySQL project but it supports only MySQL and
Postgres. If there is a Firebird port let me know, because I'd be more
than happy to use it.

As for Rubikon, I'll be only searching among Hungarian language
documents, which use some special characters like áéûõ, that's why I
need the unicode support...

Please let me know if you guys have more ideas!
