InterBase Workbench still supports both database engines - and anyone who
registered InterBase Workbench keeps that functionality.

In the (not so near) future, Firebird support will become optional in
InterBase Workbench.

Firebird Workbench is launched for people who use Firebird exclusively -
it comes at a lower price (as it doesn't support InterBase) and cannot
connect to InterBase at all.

And perhaps even the best part about Firebird Workbench: a percentage
of the license fee is contributed to the Firebird project.

If you have any more questions about InterBase Workbench, don't
hestitate to ask at the InterBase Workbench newsgroup - see website
"support" page for details.
