Re: [firebird-support] Changing the database owner in Firebird 3 Pay attention because changing the owner of the database will not change the owner of the existing database objects (tables, etc). Depending on your case, it may be easier to create a new empty database from script (with the new user) and pump the data to it.

We will try backup-restore and let you know.

We have to change the owner of database, because a user, who had been using SYSDBA account, has decided to create and use another account due to security reasons.
