My question was simply referring to the fact that, throughout the Quick Start Guide, it says on Linux/Unix do this, and on Windows do that. Nowhere is Mac OS referenced, which left me wondering.

For example on page 26 it says to connect with isql type isql (Windows) or ./isql (Linux) at the command prompt.
