Please clarify.

Are you asking about the server or the client being on Android??

I am guessing the answers may not be the same...

Quite apart from the software itself, an unrooted Android is tricky to use as a server because of firewall issues.

(I write with experience of trying to run a MariaDB server on a phone - fine for other apps within the same device but not from another even on the same subnet)

It would be very useful if remote access is possible with firebird

Does anyone know if Firebird for Android can do the following?

1. Remote Access ( via a connection string )

2, UDF Access ( User Defined Functions )

3, External Files
