It's not a good solution, but enabling "archive" repositories did it
(using wheezy).
I get version 2.5.2, though .
deb http://archive.raspbian.org/raspbian wheezy main contrib non-free
deb-src http://archive.raspbian.org/raspbian wheezy main contrib non-free
Then importing raspbian key.
Just lurk at https://www.raspbian.org/RaspbianRepository
