That eliminates my guess that Yahoo have designed in repetition sufficiently to prevent loss :(

If we are losing emails as well as duplicating others then that surely tips the scales towards migration, and the longer message loss continues the more attractive migration looks (especially to those like myself who won't be doing the work)
