Subject Re: [firebird-support] Disable cache at all - future question
The same is when you put your database in RAMDISC.
Then you have db in RAM and cache in RAM.
And you read from RAM and store data in RAM cache – wastefull.
This is minimal slowdown but if is possible to disable cache at all then i am interested.

when you say technical you mean "software" or "hardware"?
if you mean hardware - than this is possible and is designed but not released.Read about resistantive HDD and then about HP.
If software - then why?

totally remove usage of cache(RAM) – like future HP computer without
– only fast “HDD”.

It is completely impossible from technical POV.
