Subject Re: [firebird-support] Number of concurrent user connections

First there was the command line

Then there was the application

Then came the Graphic User Interface

Then came the Browser

Where ever there is a Login and a Password to connect, there is a Table, with fields, columns and data type and it a group of table is the starting point of a DATABASE.

in 1985 I started with dBase II then Dbase III+ all tables were scattered Password had to be maintained in encrypted tables

So I maintain BROWSERS connect to DATABASE.

SQL is just a language to retrieve data to build INFORMATION

Servers can be PC, it is just a Hardware hosting the DATA

Kind Regards

   No, they are completely unrelated.

Not necessary. Everything is up to a web site developer.

No. Browsers cannot connect to SQL servers.
