Looks like you are talking about the Yahoo groups web interface. It is
simply bad, and it seems to be getting progressively worse. I even had
to login, and then upgrade my Google login to a real Yahoo account to
even be able to search (only to get the above error message).

I'd suggest you use google (or another search engine), or maybe the
gmane archive of Firebird-support (at
http://news.gmane.org/gmane.comp.db.firebird.user )
