Hi,

If you have the Firebird installer, it has an option to install the client only,
this is all the client machine requires.

With regard to the server, either superserver/classic (which is an architecture
thingy), both are fine.

Hi,

This might help:

On the client, you need to install the Firebird client, on the server, you need
to have Firebird running.
