Hi,
name/password to there firebird database. We would like to migrate their data to MS SQL and >wondering if there is any way to get in. I've never used firebird so I a real newbie here.>I'm working with a company and they no longer have access to the user
In your case, it’s a good thing Firebird doesn’t use
username/password
combinations on a per database basis, but on a “per server” basis.
Install Firebird, default username/password with all access is
SYSDBA/masterkey
You should be able to access the data in the database with that
combination.
Shameless plug:
Download yourself a copy of Database Workbench ( www.upscene.com/go/?go=dbw )
so you can access both Firebird and MS SQL Server and use it to transfer
the data (and/or
meta data).
With
