The way I wrote it, and I can see your confusion, is that the restore
writes 100% of the space in each page and leaves no room to allow
updates in that same page.
The default (ie, if you leave this parameter off the command line) is to
leave 20% of each page for future updates.
I'll reword the manual. ASAP.
After the restore is completed, and as far as I am aware, the normal
80-20% usage continues on new pages.
