And seen : Fix Version/s: 2.5.1, 2.1.5, 3.0 Alpha 1 at the top of the page,
we installed firebird2.5-backports.
That's Firebird Version: 2.5.1.26351

And now it works.

No, this message usually results from invalid specification of the database in the trace configuration file.
Could you please post the exact contents of the file you're using (passwords and things like this culled, of course)?
