I guess the reason for that is that in 2.1, members of the
administrators group were automatically mapped to SYSDBA by default.
This isn't the case in 2.5 anymore.

It should work fine if you add the users to your role or if you want to
have the 2.1 behavior back in 2.5, checkout the AUTO ADMIN MAPPING clause.
