here is the SQL-statement:

That's the complete Error message:

Undefined name

Engine Code : 335544855
Engine Message :
COLLATION UNICODE_CI for CHARACTER SET UTF8 is not installed

Note: the same statement works unter Windows without problems.

in both cases (Windows and Suse-Linux 12.3) I have installed Firebird
Classic-Server 2.5.2.
