In general, BLOB with an appropriate sub-type. If you are storing binary
data (images, ...) use a sub-type of 0. If you intend to store text
data, use sub-type 1.

E.g.

<column> BLOB SUB_TYPE 0
<column> BLOB SUB_TYPE 1
