Hello Helen,
Unfortunately, I have no success.
and RDB$FIELD_NAME = ' || '"' || fname || '"';
string: NAME = "COLUMNNAME" '
result: Invalid token. Dynamic SQL Error. SQL error code = -104. Unexpected
end of command - line 4, column 22.
and RDB$FIELD_NAME = ' || '''' || fname || '''';
string: NAME = ' 'COLUMNAME ' ' '
result: The same error like first. (I have add Spaces in the examples for
better clarity)
. The method with then ascii_val(39) || f6 || ascii_val(39)
String: NAME = 51COLUMNNAME51^
Result: The same.
What doing I'm wrong? I'm using IBExpert and FB 2.5 cs
Thank you.
Best regards.
Olaf
