Thank you very much for your advice and support ! The bug described
in CORE-3211 is exactly the one I found and it was resolved in version 2.5.1

On the other hand I will try to get in touch with the package
maintainer in Debian 6.0 in order to ask him to upload the 2.5.1
version, or at least the 2.5.0 final version. I then mean time, I will
replace IN with EXISTS, following your advice.
