1. Go to dyndns and get a domain name for free
2. Set up yr rooter to inform dyndns with yr dyn ip. All new rooter have this option, or get dyndns util and use it to yr server.
3. Open to yr rooter, the port u like to connect with firebird. eg prot tcp/ip port 3050 to 192.168.1.1 (yr firebird server internal ip)
4. Use the proper connect string to yr client eg. Dyndns.dynip.net:d:/firedata/mydata.fdb
