indeed adding a data collection layer to clients (that are sensors and not
rich clients) is a nice idea,
as for the other "replication" db to handle queries and reports are there
any tools to do that automatically? i have seen that postgresql 9.x has a
few tools for balancing/replication, is there something along the same lines
in FB world? or is that (and why?) not needed?
