Which version of 1.5.?
If I am not mistaken, Forced Writes have been without any effect for 1.5. at least until 1.5.4. and definitely on Linux, but probably also on Windows.
It won't have to do anything with the timestamp of the file not updated, but I would be careful to trust in the FW settings too much.
