Subject AW: [firebird-support] post_event
Author Olaf Kluge
Thanks again,

I have set the port to 4711 and it works (windows monitoring). Local I can
get the event (flamerobin).

But the the host-operating system cannot get this event! VMWare-Machine is
set to bridged-network-modus. Both have fixed IP-Addresses. But I can
connect to the database, the events I cannot receive.

Both firewalls currently deactivated for testing until the issue is solved.

Thank you

Mit freundlichen Grüßen / with best regards

Olaf Kluge

You have to use a client application (or write your own, basically all
infamous access packages have some kind of event alerter component),
which is able to register for and receive events. E.g. I think
FlameRobin does have an event monitor.
